PAYG, rolling and fixed-term service

These labels describe more than payment timing.

01

PAYG has several forms

Some services deduct use from credit; others use a renewable allowance. A registered card can renew a bundle automatically. Find out what the payment actually does before assuming the service needs a manual top-up every time.

02

Rolling is not the same as dormant

A short renewal period can still have cancellation instructions and activity conditions. If a SIM is kept as a backup, check how the number is preserved and what happens when renewal is turned off.

03

Fixed terms need a separate check

The date of the monthly collection does not identify the minimum commitment. Look for the end date, any device balance and the consequences of leaving before that date.

04

Choose questions before products

Ask whether predictable use, occasional access, support needs or retaining an existing phone matters most. Then compare the written rules. We explain the categories without selling a subscription.

Keep the next step official

General information cannot confirm personal account conditions. Read your provider’s current documents and use its official channels before making a change.

Your next step remains your decision.
