When the phone and airtime diverge

An upgrade can affect several documents at once.

01

List the agreements

A phone, airtime service, insurance and a subscription extra may be governed separately. Put the start dates, durations and cancellation instructions in a simple list. One collection on a bill does not prove there is only one obligation.

02

Question an upgrade date

Ask whether the old balance remains, whether a device must be returned and what condition is required. A new handset arriving does not necessarily close the earlier agreement.

03

Keep evidence of a return

Follow the official packaging, delivery and timing instructions. Retain proof of sending and the provider’s confirmation. If condition affects an assessment, keep your own record before dispatch.

04

Separate need from novelty

If the current phone remains suitable, assess service needs without assuming a device change is necessary. Our information service does not supply phones, broker finance or arrange upgrades.

Keep the next step official

General information cannot confirm personal account conditions. Read your provider’s current documents and use its official channels before making a change.

Your next step remains your decision.
